I’ve been a huge fan of the Pokémon cartoon series since the very first episodes !
As I grew up, I worked as an interior designer, a job I quite enjoyed, but the company went bankrupt. After that, I got a job designing 3D models for a company partnered with Amazon in Vietnam. You can see those models on Amazon's product images. Five years passed, and I grew tired of the repetitive daily tasks
On a beautiful day with gentle sunshine and a cool autumn breeze, I quit my job and started a new journey with a passion for 3D printing. At first, I thought about making something like Pokémon-themed keycaps, and my first customers—from my very first Facebook post—started placing orders. Then came two, three, and eventually thousands of orders.
However, after three years in business, I ended up deep in debt. I thought offering low prices would help people save money, but I was wrong. These products took weeks, even months, to design because they were custom-made and unique compared to mass-produced items out there. Competing with them was foolish.
The costs of machinery, factory space, labor, and living expenses overwhelmed me. I moved back home to live with my parents for a year, escaping the high cost of living and material competition in the big city. With a calmer mind, I reflected on what I truly needed in life: to live my dream. To create the things I love, free from the mental burden of society’s rat race—financial struggles, the pressure for a stable job, and negative thoughts.
Every Pokémon episode carries the same message: exploring "What lies ahead." So leave everything behind, move forward, and open your mind to new discoveries.
